And it works, since now I'm going to follow you because of a shitpost with pretty, fluid animation.

Nevertheless, it's really well-made (especially the bullet sequence is exceptional), creative and funny, and I'm looking forward to what an animation you *want* to be seen by someone will look like.

BMBrice responds:

So far I just have the one I posted before this, but I'll definitely be making more ^^

There's not really much to this. Your actual animation is in less than a quarter of the video and is somewhat simple; then there's gameplay footage, and more than half of the video is a request to subscribe.

DylTheRetroDemon responds:

First of all,it's from my YT and that's an outro I didn't delete seeing as I thought no one would care,so thanks for the positive criticism and I'll keep that in mind.Second of all,it's a joke.

This is pretty damn funny and kept surprising me.
Also, I'm disappointed by the lack of 'blue furret' art in your account.
The crappy art is definitely a part of the charm, although I think your watermark is needlessly oversized, and it's not even needed since your name appears all the time throughout the video.

ninja78900987 responds:

thanks
sorry i'm just overly paranoid that someone's going to steal my work
even though no one probably will since everything i make turns out to be less than mediocre
anyways glad you liked it
also i relisted it so you can find it here

It's a funny idea, with fluent movements.
I think it might be a little bit better with voice acting, i.e. if you parodied the show's intro, because it looks close to it already. “Water. Earth. Fire. Air. BOOMERANG!”

Tyro1301 responds:

Yeah I did consider doing that, but I thought it would be a bit much. Looking back, it might have helped if there was voice acting. Oh well.

The fight sequence is great, but I think the ending (0:30+) is too long and mostly unnecessary, because nothing interesting really happens.

c-cam-art responds:

Perspective practice. An overhead drone camera like shot is what was accomplished in that time gap. To understand the angles of the walls. Very necessary as each element of animation was designed to sharpen up things I haven't tried or need practice doing to assist a larger project. Its all in the commentary section.....

I agree; it's a lot of fun, very creative. I did not expect any of it.
Shadows were weird sometimes, walking animations of the toads looked more like sliding and at 0:28 it looked like they all expanded from a single point and must have overlapped to some extent.
So yeah, not exactly perfect; but what an incredible idea!

Zagradak responds:

Thanks a lot! That's exactly the kind of feedback that I need! :)

I think it's awesome. A great model, nice cell shading. I wasn't sure about the pitch-black colour (because you can't add any more 'shadow' if you needed to), but after looking at 'RWBY Grimm', it looks like it would fit right in.
Although, in my opinion, the minotaur moves too much during its idle animation; but he might move like this if he's about to fight someone soon after.

By the way, this section is meant more for proper, longer animations; for short loops like this, the Art portal would be better (you can post GIFs there, as you did with the 'ProtoHunter Cannon', although that GIF doesn't loop properly).

tackoG responds:

Yeah, I agree with the pitch black thing you mentioned. If you look at my sketchfab model of this guy, you can see I do have texture for him, but when I rendered this blender, for some reason it did not use the texture. Here it just rendered as void black.
Also, thanks for letting me know about the video thing. I'm new to newgrounds, I'll make sure I pick the right format.

Thanks for the Feedback.

It's pretty good as far as the art and animation go, but otherwise, I don't really know where you're going with this in the final version (haunted house?), so there's not much to talk about. The sound of the wooden floorboards is maybe too loud (which will be quite distracting especially if you later add another sounds, voices or music to this scene).
The walk cycle seems somewhat mechanical (the arms don't move and the head moves only a little). Perhaps this might help a bit: https://youtu.be/2y6aVz0Acx0

markymayhem90 responds:

ye 1st animation on toon boom, not an excuse but not bad for one day of learning and jimmy is the world I'm building. I learn by doing so when it comes to the sounds I put them in a place holder to save time witch I can already see was a mistake
most of the toon boom animation stuff is very gatekeeper never tell you to the point so im just throwing things and seeing how the program works thanks for the advice :D
(just learned how to build a rig so trying to make that work wish me luck )

I like it!
Although it feels more like an intro to something than a complete piece, the colourless style and overall eerie atmosphere was really nice. By the way, right now it's night here and I'm sitting alone next to a window, so thanks, really… :)
Perhaps scarier than the monster was hearing the voice for the first time, because it's quite louder than the initial background music, so it caught me by surprise.

Bottom line, it's interesting and I hope to see more.

JackAstral responds:

Thanks! I'll look into lowering the voice volume down a bit - thanks for pointing that out!

I have some pretty cool ideas I think for shorts that are a little longer - I defs wanna do more :-D

Good, good, well done.
The movement is very smooth and fluent, the straw actually looks real. You also know pretty well how to operate with cameras and when it is the best time to make a cut, so there wasn't a single moment when the animation would feel too slow, laggy or boring.
This is a joke, so backgrounds/physics don't matter (in fact the animation's funnier like this), but if you create something with a more serious topic in the future, try to make the water behave more realistic and the ground – especially the lake's shore – a bit smoother, because now you can clearly see its edges.

The video might also have been funnier without the last ten seconds, but that's just my opinion. It's good to see a nice 3D animation here.

Seb8tian responds:

Thanks :D!
I started this animation a long time ago, but I finished today (reason of sharp edges).
Right now I'm thinking for make a sequel, but really I don have a good idea. I make a turtle rig, so probably I'll animate on the next low-poly animation.
Whenever I'm animating a minecraft vid (it would be awesome) :). The next intro would be more short and attractive :P.
