And it works, since now I'm going to follow you because of a shitpost with pretty, fluid animation.

Nevertheless, it's really well-made (especially the bullet sequence is exceptional), creative and funny, and I'm looking forward to what an animation you *want* to be seen by someone will look like.

BMBrice responds:

So far I just have the one I posted before this, but I'll definitely be making more ^^

There's not really much to this. Your actual animation is in less than a quarter of the video and is somewhat simple; then there's gameplay footage, and more than half of the video is a request to subscribe.

DylTheRetroDemon responds:

First of all,it's from my YT and that's an outro I didn't delete seeing as I thought no one would care,so thanks for the positive criticism and I'll keep that in mind.Second of all,it's a joke.

It's an audio submission. That's why it was taken down since it's not a “movie” or an animation (in the sense of being more than a static scene as a backdrop for a music track). And republishing submissions that were already taken down is against the rules, too.

There wouldn't be a problem I think if you published this to the Audio portal.

I seem to be stuck at “No compatible source was found for this video” forever trying to load (Chrome, Edge). Did the video file upload correctly?

This is pretty damn funny and kept surprising me.
Also, I'm disappointed by the lack of 'blue furret' art in your account.
The crappy art is definitely a part of the charm, although I think your watermark is needlessly oversized, and it's not even needed since your name appears all the time throughout the video.

ninja78900987 responds:

thanks
sorry i'm just overly paranoid that someone's going to steal my work
even though no one probably will since everything i make turns out to be less than mediocre
anyways glad you liked it
also i relisted it so you can find it here

It's a funny idea, with fluent movements.
I think it might be a little bit better with voice acting, i.e. if you parodied the show's intro, because it looks close to it already. “Water. Earth. Fire. Air. BOOMERANG!”

Tyro1301 responds:

Yeah I did consider doing that, but I thought it would be a bit much. Looking back, it might have helped if there was voice acting. Oh well.

The fight sequence is great, but I think the ending (0:30+) is too long and mostly unnecessary, because nothing interesting really happens.

c-cam-art responds:

Perspective practice. An overhead drone camera like shot is what was accomplished in that time gap. To understand the angles of the walls. Very necessary as each element of animation was designed to sharpen up things I haven't tried or need practice doing to assist a larger project. Its all in the commentary section.....

I agree; it's a lot of fun, very creative. I did not expect any of it.
Shadows were weird sometimes, walking animations of the toads looked more like sliding and at 0:28 it looked like they all expanded from a single point and must have overlapped to some extent.
So yeah, not exactly perfect; but what an incredible idea!

Zagradak responds:

Thanks a lot! That's exactly the kind of feedback that I need! :)

The animation and special effects are quite random (haven't seen Win XP in a while), but that probably makes it more intriguing.

However, you can't use the song. You know, writing:
‘I do not own the rights to this song. All credit belongs to their creators.’
doesn't mean anything. It's still a breach of copyright; you're just announcing it out loud.

‘I did illegally break into the house and lived there for a few days, but I never claimed I own the house or have the right to stay there, so it should be okay.’

Unless the license of the original song allows it (e.g. Creative Commons), you can't legally use it without the permission of the author. Not here, not on YT, not anywhere else.

You shouldn't advertise your YouTube channel (it's against the rules to simply advertise).
The "Movies" portal is, well, for movies; i.e. animations or short live-action films. Not just any random videos.
https://www.newgrounds.com/wiki/help-information/terms-of-use/movie-guidelines
Or see other movies, if you want to know what kind of content belongs there: https://www.newgrounds.com/movies/browse

If your content will be more about talking than actual animation; there's also the podcast section in the Audio portal: https://www.newgrounds.com/audio?type=4

You can add a link to your YT channel on your profile, though:
https://mikeyw123.newgrounds.com/
"Edit Profile" / Your Links (up to 10 websites)
Then whoever goes to your profile will see the YT link as well.
